Permission Requested: Activity Recognition
Core Feature: Activity tracking and workout monitoring
Reason for Use:
Our cycling app uses the Activity Recognition permission to automatically detect when the user is cycling. This feature allows users to track their cycling workouts without needing to start or stop tracking manually, providing a seamless experience.
The permission also enables accurate monitoring of physical activity, helping the app to calculate workout metrics like distance, duration, and calories burned for cycling activities, which are core features of the app.
Benefits to Users:
The Activity Recognition permission improves the user experience by providing hands-free workout tracking. Users can focus on their cycling activities while the app automatically tracks and records workout data in real-time, providing accurate performance insights without manual input.
Confirmation of Policy Compliance:
Confirm that our app's usage of Activity Recognition complies with Google's policies, that the permission is used solely for the features described, and that our app doesn't misuse or access unrelated data through this permission.
